If you disagree with the Substantial Damage estimate you may contact the Building Department to Request a Substantial Damage Reinspection. Required documentation is:
1. Building permit application along with the SDI worksheet to return the home to pre-storm condition.
AND
1. An amended documentation of actual cash value (replacement cost less depreciation) from the Pinellas County Property Appraiser. An application for a Pre-Storm Building Value Reconsideration (BVR) is available on the Pinellas County Property Appraiser website.
OR
1. A professional property appraisal prepared by a licensed Florida appraiser specifically for FEMA substantial damage.
